OK … but it COULD have been a crocodile …

I think I must have been good lately because after some really heavy showers yesterday we had glorious sunshine this morning on our walk; bit windy though!

We did our usual tour with a slight exception, Mum asked me to turn left at the end instead of right – Hmmm, that’s new!

We’re scouting out new walks again – always along Public Footpaths as far as possible. This one leads through a farm yard and past a field with these fellas in it.

They were friendly enough and we moved on along the path. I got so interested in a patch of juicy grass that I didn’t notice Mum had gone quite some way ahead. So I had to run to catch up. She had already walked past that puddle …

I already felt a little bit jumpy because of the noise the tarpaulin on the farm yard had made flapping around in the wind, and I really didn’t know what to make of that lump of concrete … it COULD have been a crocodile!!!!! You just never know!

On the way back Ruby was waiting for us in the corner of her field

and I had a chat with her.

Then me and Mum met Brenda our new friend. She was pushing a wheel barrow and leading her horse at the same time. Brenda said she’d like to take me home … I was very tempted – guys, her wheel barrow was full of fresh horse dooh!

Bye for now.

You know Finni, forget the crocodile, I don’t like getting my warm lushy belly wet and cold either.

Gosh Finni – you had us scared of that crocodile too! You were right to be cautious – smart boy. We were so drawn in we were scared when you went back for a second look once you had crossed the treacherous sea…..he could have snapped you after all that! Good job your mum has got you to protect her hey?

    Love Molly and Gertrude
