Hi All,
Mum finally got round to prepare my entry into the Annual Gooberstanian Beard Growing Competition. I think I’m going to enter 2 out of the 3 categories – ‘Most Improved Beard’ and ‘Best Muddy Face’.
We had a little disagreement on my initial measurement, I thought my beard was around the 5 inches mark
but Mum said biting off the first 1.5 inches of the ruler was cheating and not allowed!
In the end we settled on a freshly groomed 3.5 inches!
Plenty of room for ‘improvement’ there then! The entry for ‘Best Muddy Face’ is completely Kosher though:
I wish I had somebody to hang on my beard like Ludo! I wonder if Dad would accept that as valid reason for getting a little sister … If anybody can think of any good ideas on how to persuade Dad – please let me know!!!
Anyway, we had a lovely weekend as Amelie turned ONE today!!! She has been walking for the past few weeks – proper upright stuff like Mum and Dad! She keeps visiting me at the babygate and pulls my hair – I love it.
Bye for now.
Finni
Well, there you go, Finni! Amelie can tug on your beard and it’ll be 6″ long in no time at all!
That’s a serious muddy beard! hehehehe
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
We agree – Amelie can tug on your beard and lengthen it, and you’d be helping her to improve her walking at the same time!
We really think you should be allowed a little sister. Surely you can keep one of your mini Finnis?? You simply HAVE to!
Thanks for your message on our blog. Yep – due date came and went – sigh. Still, I had a great 4th birthday – 12th October is clearly a good day for a birthday! Happy Birtyhday Amelie!
Love Molly and Gertrude
xx
Happy Birthday to Amelie.
Finni you must sit your Dad down and have a serious man to man chat with him. Of course you must have a sister, and one from such distinguished lineage!
Good luck with the beard contest, you are, for sure, a good candidate for the muddy beard.
Molly and Taffy
